Etrudy Taylor-Mitchell founded a nonprofit for IDD housing and services after 21 years as a stay-at-home mom. She mentors caregivers for IDD adults and participated in the IDD Housing Project with Georgians for Healthy Future and Atlanta Regional Commission’s LCI program. Etrudy has advocated for policy changes to Georgia’s NOW/COMP waiver and has led fundraising, PTA, cyber education, advocacy, and technology consulting initiatives. She supports organizations including Focus-GA, Atlanta Girls’ School, University of Oklahoma Black Alumni, Special Pops Tennis, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Georgia Epilepsy Foundation, and numerous sponsorships.
